چکیده
Objective: To investigate the efficacy of metoprolol combined with torasemide in elderly patients degenerative valvular heart disease (DVHD) and failure its influence on N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) concentrations.
Methods: The records 129 DVHD ≥60 years old diagnosed treated our hospital from January 2020 to February 2022 were retrospectively selected. According treatment records, 62 received (Control-group), 67 (Observation-group). changes cardiac function, NT-proBNP inflammatory factor concentrations clinical analyzed compared between two groups before after treatment.
Results: After treatment, left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD) mitral ratio peak early late diastolic filling velocity (E/A) lower, a greater decrease Observation-group Control-group (P<0.05). interleukin-1beta (IL-1β), tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), interleukin 6 (IL-6) lower both groups, total was significantly higher than There no significant difference incidence adverse drug reactions (P>0.05).
Conclusion: Metoprolol has therapeutic effect failure. This combination improved reduced good safety.

Using NT-proBNP to Detect Chronic Heart Failure in Elderly Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Objective. To detect chronic heart failure in elderly patients with a registered diagnosis of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) treated in Swedish primary health care using natriuretic peptide NT-proBNP. Design. A cross-sectional study. Setting. Two primary health care centres in southeastern Sweden each with about 9000 listed patients. Subjects. Patients aged 65 years and older with...
متن کاملThe effect of concurrent aerobic-resistance training on NT-proBNP levels, blood pressure and body composition of patients with chronic heart failure
Background: Heart failure is associated with structural and functional changes of the heart and physical activity is a likely intervention to improve it. This study aimed at investigating the effect of concurrent aerobic-resistance exercise training on NT-proBNP levels, blood pressure and body composition in patients with chronic heart failure. Materials and Methods: In this clinical trial stud...
متن کامل[Stability of NT-ProBNP in patients with systolic heart failure].
Natriuretic peptides are extremely useful in the diagnosis and prognosis of patients with heart failure. However, it is not clear whether their values are stable. We carried out a prospective study of 30 consecutive ambulatory patients (mean age, 62.6 [12.2] years) with stable systolic heart failure, as determined by the 6-minute walk test, who were in New York Heart Association class II or III...
